Welcome

I've been around this little blog world for a while. I've made some great blog friends and have continued to be impressed by the support and respect we bloggers have for each other over this grand internet scale. I'm once again starting over... I  know, I know... lots of things in life have changed and I just felt changing the other blogs I've run to suit my new inspirations, ideas, and passions would be sloppy and thrown together. I hope you all bare with me and I hope to find lots of new readers.

For those new readers; here's a few quick facts about me.

• Obviously, I'm Kayla and I love a good memoir and mocha latte.
• I'm fairly newly engaged as of April 2012. 
• No wedding plans yet as we found out in July we're expecting a baby in March
• It's a baby girl!
• Holidays are by far my favorite time of year, expect plenty of theme related posts
• I'm an AmazonPrime believer. How did we ever live without it?
• I try to cook everyday and methodically pick all my groceries; but when eating out all bets are off
• I'm a Texas girl.
